MULTINATIONAL BATTLE GROUP EAST TRANSFER OF AUTHORITY CEREMONY

Camp Bondsteel. The ceremony marking the handover of authority between US Army Colonel Ros L. Gammon IV, and Army Colonel Corwin J. Lusk took place on 19 th November 2016 in Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo. It marked the change of command within Multinational Battle Group East (MNBG-E). KFOR Commander, Major General Giovanni Fungo presided over the event.

During his speech, COMKFOR, Major General Giovanni Fungo, greeted all attendees and thanked Colonel Ros L. Gammon IV for doing an outstanding job in providing security in their Area of Operations. Major General Giovanni Fungo acknowledged the fine work that has been done by the soldiers of MNBGE, when he said "No commander can fulfil his duties without highly motivated soldiers”.

COMKFOR finally, welcomed the incoming commander, Army Colonel Corwin J. Lusk from the 37 th Brigade Combat Team (Buckeye Brigade) Ohio, and wished him and his soldiers a successful tour of duty in Kosovo.
