MULTINATIONAL BATTLE GROUP EAST CONDUCTS CROWD RIOT CONTROL TRAINING


Camp Maréchal de Lattre de Tassigny, Kosovo. Recently, Multinational Battle Group East’s Forward Command Post, based at Camp Maréchal de Lattre de Tassigny, held a battalion size Crowd Riot Control (CRC) training exercise in Novo Selo.

The exercise, called Thunder Road IV, was based on a realistic scenario and it was preceded by two weeks of preparation and training in CRC drills and techniques. The purpose of this exercise was to synchronize the CRC assets and procedures for the sub- units of Multinational Battle Group East.

During the After Action Review the Company Commanders and the exercise director analyzed the performance and procedures in order to ensure seamless interoperability.

The MNBG-E troops based in Camp Maréchal de Lattre de Tassigny consist of Hungarian, German, Polish and US troops. They conducts peace support operations in Kosovo to contribute to a safe and secure environment and freedom of movement.
