MNBG-W DONATES FIREWOOD AND CLOTHES TO KOSOVO SERBIAN COMMUNITY IN VELIKA HOCA

Peje/Pec, 14 th November 2016. In the last week, the civil-military cooperation branch belonging to Multinational Battle Group West (MNBG-W), the Italian lead units based on 62nd Infantry Regiment "Sicilia," donated more than 20 cubic meters of firewood, winter clothes and other materials to the Serb community in Velika Hoca village.

The materials provided by the MNBG -W and Italian donors will allow about 1,000 inhabitants of the Serbian community of Velika Hoca to overcome comfortably the winter season.

The event was attended by the Commander of the Multinational Battle Group West, Colonel Giovanni Giagheddu, who thanked the Velika Hoca village habitants for the warm hospitality shown.

The projects completed by MNBG-W are a demonstration of how KFOR operates in respect of every culture, tradition and religion in order to support the local communities and the development of the stability in the area.
