MNBG-W CONDUCTS "FIRE PHOBIA" TRAINING

PEC/PEJA, Kosovo. Multinational Battle Group-West conducted an intense phase of "Fire Phobia” training in close collaboration with their colleagues from Austria, Slovenia and Moldova, at Camp "Slim Line”, in Pristina.

The combined contingents units also trained on riot control simulation techniques, based on a number of challenging scenarios, such as aggression from a mob and protests, including Molotov’s cocktails.

This training is the culmination of a series of intensive training exercise which has gotten these troops to this high degree of readiness; that additionally has seen all the personnel performing in a dynamic cycle of activity and training exercises that are both theoretical and practical based, with the ultimate objective of achieving a Full Operational Capability (FOC). This ultimately will allow these troops to professionally and confidently face potential different civil disturbance scenarios should the need arise.
