MNBG-W CIMIC DONATION IN KLINA

PEC, Kosovo. Multi-national Battle Group West (MNBG-W) troops donated wheelchairs and clothes to the Catholic Community of Klina on Jan 12. The donation was planned by the Civil Military in Cooperation (CIMIC) team based in Camp "Villaggio Italia”. The CIMIC team maintains a close relationship with the local municipalities in MNBG-W area of operations.

The event was attended by MNBG-W Commander, Colonel Salvatore Alessandro Sarcia and the priest of the Catholic Church in Klina, Father Martin Jetishi.

The donation was followed by a short meeting with Mayor of Klina, Sokol Bashota, at the Municipality’s building in order to share information related to the socio-economic development and security issues within Klina Municipality.

This activity is part of the KFOR’s CIMIC effort to help families in the area and highlights that KFOR continues to support the local population in a variety of projects.
