MNBG-W CHANGE OF COMMANDER CEREMONY


PRISTINA, Kosovo. Today KFOR Commander, Major General Guglielmo Luigi Miglietta, attended the Multinational Battle Group West (MNBG-W) transfer of authority between the 4 th Tank Regiment and the incoming 62 nd Infantry Regiment.

The ceremony was attended by the Italian Ambassador in Kosovo, H.E. Andreas Ferrarese, the Italian Joint Operations Headquarters Deputy Commander, Major General Stefano Vito Salamida and representatives of local religious and political local groups.

In his speech, KFOR Commander expressed his appreciation for the results achieved by the men and women commanded by Colonel Alessandro Sarcià. They performed their tasks in an outstanding manner, demonstrating professionalism and competence throughout their deployment.

General Miglietta welcomed the 62 nd Infantry Regiment soldiers commanded by Giovanni Giagheddu to the "KFOR family” and wished them a successful and safe tour of duty.

Multinational Battle Group West is a multi-national military unit at the level of a regiment, consisting of Austrian, Italian, Moldovan Slovenian, service members. These companies are highly mobile, flexible and are rapidly deployable all over Kosovo.
