MNBG-E WELCOMES NEW KFOR COMMANDER


Pristina, Kosovo. U.S. Army Col. Ros L. Gammon IV, commander of Multinational Battle Group-East, and senior leaders welcomed Kosovo Force Commanding General, Maj. Gen. Giovanni Fungo, to Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo.

The occasion marks KFOR Commander’s first official visit to the U.S. lead camp since he assumed authority of KFOR in a ceremony on Camp Film City, Sept. 1, 2016.

During his visit, new KFOR Commander has received by Col. Gammon an update and general overview about current operations and to lay out his vision for KFOR during his mandate.

Maj General Fungo, alongside key members of the MNBG-E, toured Camp Bondsteel while meeting with Soldiers and leaders from the Southern Command Post and Liaison Monitoring Team.

KFOR Commander praised the professionalism of the US contingent that contributes significantly in maintaining a safe and secure environment and freedom of movement throughout Kosovo.
