MEETING WITH THE CHIEF OF STAFF OF THE GERMAN ARMY

PRISTINA, Kosovo. KFOR Commander, Major General Guglielmo Luigi Miglietta, received the Chief of Staff of the German Army, Lieutenant General Jörg Vollmer, at KFOR Headquarters.

General Miglietta remarked that KFOR’s mission remains unchanged and any future change to KFOR’s force posture will be based on careful analysis of the conditions on the ground.

KFOR Commander praised the professionalism of the German contingent deployed across Kosovo and particularly as part of Multinational Battle Group East (MNBG-E), and also the Medical Task Force stationed in the South of the region, in Prizren.

Both high-ranking Officers agreed on the importance of the role of KFOR in maintaining a safe and secure environment and freedom of movement throughout Kosovo.

Additionally, General Vollmer warmly congratulated General Miglietta, who will end his mandate, as KFOR Commander, on the 1 st September.
