LITTLE STARS VISIT KFOR CAMP SLIM LINES
PRISTINA, Kosovo. Today, over twenty children from the preschool institution Yjet e Vegjel which means "Little Star" visited "Camp Slim Lines".
The children aged 4-6 years, had the opportunity to meet with KFOR soldiers, tour the base and see some equipment and vehicles.
"Camp Slim Lines" is home to KFOR's Tactical Manoeuvre Battalion (KTM). The KTM is comprised of over 300 Portuguese and Hungarian soldiers, supporting KFOR's mandate to ensure freedom of movement and a safe and secure environment in Kosovo in accordance with UNSC resolution 1244.
KFOR sometimes facilitates visits to its bases in order to inform the local population of KFOR activities and to develop a positive relationship with the citizens of Kosovo.
