KOSOVO: THE ITALIAN CONTINGENT DONATES EQUIPMENT TO VIDANJE PRIMARY SCHOOL

Peje/Pec October 03, 2016 – Multinational Battle Group West (MNBG-W) completed recently a number of projects to assist local communities in western Kosovo.

The civil-military cooperation branch donated gardening, sport materials and computer equipment to the "RADOS TOSIC” primary school in Vidanje village, Kline/Klina municipality.

The building is new and was inaugurated on September 2016 as a detachment of Osojane school. It is very important for the Serbian community of Vidanje village in virtue of its direct commitment to develop the education of the Kosovo Serb children.

The equipment donated by the Italian KFOR contingent will improve the teaching capabilities related to Information Technology and English.

This activity is a part of a broader civil-military cooperation program carried out by the Italian contingent stationed in Belo Polje, which involves the local authorities and humanitarian organizations (IO/NGOs) operating in the area.
