KOSOVO: ITALIAN CONTINGENT DONATES EQUIPMENT TO RATISHE SCHOOL

Decan/Decani October 12, 2016 - The Italian contingent of the Multinational Battle Group West (MNBG-W), the lead unit based on 62 nd Infantry Regiment "Sicilia", has made a donation in favor of the " Faik Konoka” primary school in Ratishe, Decan/Decani municipality.

In particular, soldiers belonging to CIMIC Cell of the MNBG-W donated to Mr. Rame Alickaj, director of the school, sports and school equipment which will contribute to improve educational capabilities of the structure significantly contributing to the effectiveness of local education.

The event is part of a broader civil-military cooperation program carried out by the Italian contingent stationed in Belo Polje, which involves local authorities and humanitarian organizations operating in Kosovo in order to improve the development and the stabilization of the area.
