KFOR’S TACTICAL MANOEUVRE BATTALION CONDUCTS EXERCISE FOX II

CAMP VRELO, Pristina. KFOR’S Tactical Manoeuvre Battalion (KTM) conducted full operational capability exercise "FOX II”, from 08 to 18 Apr 16.

Training and exercises are routine military activities for KFOR troops. Annually, KFOR uses these types of exercise to train and improve the capabilities of its units. The purpose of this exercise was to validate the capabilities of the newly arrived Portuguese unit and HQ. The harmonization of techniques, tactics and procedures between KFOR’s support units was also practiced.

The exercise was conducted in three distinct phases: the first phase focused on theoretical training, the second phase focused on Crowd and Riot Control (CRC) drills, and the third and final phase focused on the practical exercise.

KFOR continually trains its troops in order to increase its ability to deploy at short notice to any location in Kosovo, if required.
