Leposaviq, December 27th, 2016. Today, in the church of St. Vasilije in Leposaviq, members of the KFOR, from Joint Regional Detachment North (JRD-N) and Slovenian contingent donated sport wheelchair and crutches to "Udruga Zena”.

 

In particular, the sport wheelchair and orthopedic crutches were for an 11 years old suffering from cerebral paralysis. The wheelchair will help him to move, not only into the school environment and the city, but also, in the sports hall that his school has. All those products were donated to Mrs. Tanaskovic, president of the Society of Women of Leposaviq "Udruga Zena”.

 

Two Firefighting Uniforms and two pairs of gloves were also donated to the Firefighters of Leposaviq. Firefighting equipment is also very important for the Firefighters to accomplish their mission. SVN Chaplain was present for donation with Chief of firefighters in Leposaviq, too. KFOR Soldiers are always willing to help people who need assistance in order to make their lives better.
