KFOR DEPUTY COMMANDER MEETS WITH GREEK COMMANDER 2ND MECHANIZED INFANTRY DIVISION

PRISTINA, Kosovo. Today, Brigadier General Ferenc Korom, KFOR Deputy Commander, received Major General Dimitrios Glimis, Commander of the 2nd mechanized infantry Division of Greece, at KFOR Headquarters.
 
During the meeting they discussed the overall security situation in Kosovo and the considerable contribution provided by the Greek contingent to KFOR. General Korom had also the opportunity to express appreciation for the important role, the professionalism and the outstanding contribution of Greek service members in KFOR.
 
Currently Greece is an important contributing Nation to KFOR with soldiers operating in the Headquarter and as Liaison and Monitoring Teams (LMT), as part of Joint Regional Detachment North (JRD-N). The majority of Greek soldiers are deployed as camp security at Camp Film City and KFOR HQ.
