KFOR COMMANDER RECEIVES THE HEAD OF SWISS ARMED FORCES

PRISTINA, Kosovo. Today, Major General Guglielmo Luigi Miglietta received the Head of Swiss Armed Forces Joint Staff, Major General Jean-Marc Halter, at KFOR Headquarters.

The high ranking Officers discussed the overall security situation in Kosovo and the considerable contribution provided by the Swiss contingent to KFOR in maintaining a stable level of security throughout Kosovo.

General Miglietta remarked that KFOR’s mission remains unchanged and any future change to KFOR’s force posture will be based on careful analysis of the conditions on the ground.

Currently, Swiss troops in Kosovo are mostly deployed in the Joint Regional Detachment - North, as lead Nation.
