KFOR COMMANDER RECEIVES THE HEAD OF SWISS ARMED FORCES PERSONNEL

PRISTINA, Kosovo. Today, Major General Guglielmo Luigi Miglietta received the Head of Swiss Armed Forces Personnel, Brigadier General Germaine J. F. Seewer, and Ms. Ida Glanzmann-Hunkeler, Member of Swiss Parliament, at KFOR Headquarters.

The meeting was an occasion to discuss the overall security situation in Kosovo and the considerable contribution provided by the Swiss contingent to KFOR in maintaining a stable level of security throughout Kosovo.

Currently, Swiss troops in Kosovo are mostly deployed in the Joint Regional Detachment - North, as lead Nation. They are also contributing with a transport platoon, engineer platoon, Liaison Monitoring Team, Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team and air assets.
