KFOR COMMANDER RECEIVES THE AMBASSADOR OF SWITZERLAND TO BELGIUM AND NATO

PRISTINA, Kosovo. Today, Major General Guglielmo Luigi Miglietta received the Ambassador of Switzerland to Belgium and NATO, Christian Meuwly.

During the meeting, held at KFOR Headquarters they discussed the overall security situation in Kosovo and the considerable contribution provided by the Swiss contingent to KFOR in maintaining a stable level of security throughout Kosovo.

General Miglietta remarked that KFOR’s mission remains unchanged and any future change to KFOR’s force posture will be based on careful analysis of the conditions on the ground.

Currently, Swiss troops in Kosovo are mostly deployed in the Joint Regional Detachment - North, as lead Nation.
