KFOR COMMANDER MET THE HEAD OF THE OSCE MISSION IN KOSOVO

September 29, 2016. This morning KFOR Commander, Major General Giovanni Fungo, had a meeting with the outgoing Head of the Organization for Security Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Mission in Kosovo, H.E. Ambassador Jean-Claude Schlumberger, at Camp "Film City” NATO KFOR Headquarters in Pristina/Prishtinë.

COMKFOR and Ambassador Schlumberger spoke about the current situation in Kosovo and the recent activities conducted by the International Organization in the region.

KFOR Commander underlined the lead role played by OSCE in Kosovo in order to support the development of democratic institutions and civic participation in decision- making to the promotion of human rights and the rule of law.

COMKFOR praised the important results achieved by OSCE to facilitate the progress of better social and economic conditions for the people of Kosovo.
