KFOR COMMANDER MEETS WITH BISHOP TEODOSIJE


PRISTINA, Kosovo. Today KFOR Commander, Major General Guglielmo Luigi Miglietta, paid a visit to Gracanica Monastery where he was welcomed by the Bishop of Raska-Prizren, Teodosije Šibalić.

During the meeting they discussed the general situation in Kosovo focusing on religious aspects. The importance of all the religious communities in promoting peace and cultivating respect amongst them in the region was acknowledged. General Miglietta underlined that KFOR encourages dialogue between all religious representatives in Kosovo to support peace, cooperation and progress for all the people of Kosovo.

"KFOR, with the support of all stakeholders, transforms challenges into opportunities, for the success of Kosovo”, General Miglietta said.

At the end of the meeting, Bishop Teodosije expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the impartial and effective commitment of KFOR in maintaining a safe and secure environment for all the people of Kosovo.
