KFOR COMMANDER MEETS WITH BISHOP GJERGJI

PRISTINA, Kosovo. Today, Kosovo Force Commander, Major General Guglielmo Luigi Miglietta, met Bishop of Pristina Dodë Gjergji, Head of Catholic Community in Kosovo, at the Cathedral of Blessed Mother Teresa.

They spoke about the general situation in Kosovo and the importance of religious communities in promoting peace and cultivating respect amongst all communities in the region. COMKFOR underlined that KFOR encourages dialogue between all religious representatives in Kosovo to support peace, cooperation and progress for all the people of Kosovo.

As this is a significant week in the Catholic Church calendar, Major General Miglietta used this occasion to wish Bishop Dodë Gjergji and his community a peaceful Easter celebration.
