KFOR COMMANDER MEETS PORTUGUESE MILITARY BISHOP


PRISTINA, Kosovo. Major General Manuel da Silva Rodrigues Linda, Portuguese Armed Forces Bishop, as part of his visit to Portuguese troops stationed with KFOR, paid a courtesy meeting to HQ KFOR where he was welcomed by KFOR Commander, Major General Guglielmo Luigi Miglietta.

They spoke about the general situation in Kosovo and the importance of the different religious communities in promoting peace and cultivating respect amongst them in the region.

General Miglietta underlined that KFOR encourages dialogue between all religious representatives in Kosovo to support peace, cooperation and progress for all the people of Kosovo.

COMKFOR had also the opportunity to emphasize that Portugal’ significant contribution to KFOR is very much appreciated as well as the very professional performance of their troops who are deployed as part of KFOR HQ and in KFOR’s Tactical Manoeuvre Battalion (KTM).
