KFOR COMMANDER MEET WITH AUSTRIAN MILITARY BISHOP


PRISTINA, Kosovo. Dr. Werner Freistetter, Military Bishop of Austria as part of his visit to Austrian troops stationed with KFOR paid a courtesy call to HQ KFOR in Pristina where he was welcomed by KFOR Commander, Major General Guglielmo Luigi Miglietta.

They spoke about the general situation in Kosovo and the importance of the different religious communities in promoting peace and cultivating respect amongst all communities in the region.

General Miglietta underlined that KFOR encourages dialogue between all religious representatives in Kosovo to support peace, cooperation and progress for all the people of Kosovo.

COMKFOR had also the opportunity to emphasize that Austria’s significant contribution to KFOR is very much appreciated as well as the very professional performance of their troops who are deployed here with the mission.
