KFOR ASSISTS KSF IN EXPLOSIVE ORDNANCE DISPOSAL TRAINING

PRIZREN, Kosovo. The ability of Kosovo Security Forces to protect the people of Kosovo was strengthened today as 30 students graduated the KSF Explosive Ordnance Disposal Course in Prizren, Kosovo.

The ceremony was the culmination of 12-weeks of training, which focused on unexploded ordnance (UXO) detection, handling and proper disposal techniques.

Throughout the 12-week course U.S. Army Soldiers with MNBG-E played an integral role for the graduating class.

The U.S. Army’s 666th and 763rd EOD companies partnered alongside the KSF to introduce the latest techniques for handling unexploded ordnance.

Members of MNBG-E and other NATO allies were in attendance for the ceremony, supporting the latest joint effort by KSF and NATO to help shape the change.
