KFOR ASSETS SUPPORT CIVILIAN TRUCK RECOVERY IN LEPOSAVIC

Leposavic, Kosovo. An accident involving a civilian truck belonging to Trepca Company occurred between Leposavic and Zvecan, on 19 March 2016.

As the municipality was unable to recover the truck, KFOR assistance was sought by the local authorities. Following a reconnaissance of the site, KFOR recovery assets from the Joint Logistics Support Group and in close co-ordination with Joint Regional Detachment North (JRD-N), and KFOR HQ Joint Logistics Operations Center responded to the request. The truck was successfully recovered and the situation on the Main Supply Route between Leposavic and Zvecan was returned to normal.
