JOINT LOGISTIC SUPPORT GROUP CHANGE OF COMMAND


Pristina, 8 October 2016. KFOR Commander, Major General Giovanni Fungo, presided over the change of command ceremony, to mark the handover within KFOR Joint Logistic Support Group (JLSG).
 
The ceremony was held in Camp Film City, in Pristina between the outgoing Colonel Arnold Staudacher and the incoming Colonel Wolfgang WeichselBerger.
 
After six months of service as the commander of the JLSG and of the 34rd Austrian Contingent, Colonel Arnold Staudacher relinquished command and responsibility to Colonel Wolfgang Weichselberger. Currently, there are around 500 Austrian service members deployed in KFOR.
 
During this period JLSG conducted several infrastructural projects in KFOR Camps, carried out driver training, personnel transportation, supply and fuel delivery and several Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) operational activities.
 
Joint Logistic Support Group is a KFOR framework logistic unit that involves 16 nations which provide logistic support to all KFOR units throughout all Kosovo.
