GERMAN ARMED FORCES OFFICIALS VISIT KFOR

PRISTINA, Kosovo. KFOR Commander, Major General Guglielmo Luigi Miglietta, received the Commander of Strategic Reconnaissance Command of the German Armed Forces, Major General Axel Binder, at KFOR Headquarters.

The latest developments in the security situation in Kosovo as well as in the wider Balkans region were discussed during the meeting.

General Miglietta remarked that KFOR’s mission remains unchanged and any future change to KFOR’s force posture will be based on careful analysis of the conditions on the ground.

KFOR Commander praised the professionalism of the German contingent deployed across Kosovo and particularly as part of Multinational Battle Group East (MNBG-E), which also includes the Medical Task Force stationed in the South of the region in Prizren.

Both Senior Officers agreed on the importance of the role of KFOR in maintaining a safe and secure environment and freedom of movement throughout Kosovo.
