PRISTINA, Kosovo. Today, KFOR Commander, Major General Guglielmo Luigi Miglietta, received, at KFOR Headquarters, the former UK Defense Secretary and former Secretary General of NATO, Lord George Robertson. The latest developments in the security and social situation in Kosovo as well as the wider Balkans region were discussed.

 

During the meeting they agreed that KFOR’s mandate is still important to the development of better social and economic conditions for all residents of Kosovo. Later, Lord Robertson laid a wreath at the KFOR Memorial Garden, in Camp "Film City”, to commemorate UK soldiers and all KFOR service personnel who lost their lives while carrying out their duty.
