FIRST MEETING OF STOJANOVIC AND FUNGO
Security in Kosovo, particularly in Serbian areas, was the main topic of the meeting between Deputy Prime Minister Branimir STOJANOVIC and KFOR Commander Giovanni FUNGO.
STOJANOVIC informed the newly appointed KFOR Commander about the current security situation, with a special reference to the recent desecration of the Temple of Christ the Savior in Pristina, as well as events in Musutiste.
"We talked about security, on challenges, and about the important role KFOR has for security. I informed them about the important processes, primarily about the process of return to Musutiste and all the challenges we have faced in relation to that issue, as well as about the process of cleaning the Temple of Christ the Savior in Pristina and bringing it into such a state that a holy liturgy can be served in it,” said STOJANOVIC.
He also expressed satisfaction with the so far cooperation and pointed out that he hopes that a good cooperation with KFOR will continue in future.
Commander FUNGO thanked the Deputy Prime Minister for hospitality and the information provided.
