DONATION OF CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS

Pristina, 4 January 2016. Today the Joint Regional Detachment Centre (JRD-C) has donated construction materials to Father Darko Marinkovic in order to renovate the Church of St. Nicholas, in the municipality of Pristina.

Father Darko Marinkovic due to the poor infrastructural state of the church required the support of KFOR. Liaison Monitoring Team of the JRD-C, in cooperation with the CIMIC cell of KFOR Headquarters, has worked hard in order to deliver the construction materials by January 7, festivities of Orthodox Christmas.

This activity is part of the initiatives carried out by KFOR in favour of local population of all ethnicities, impartially and in the deepest respect for different cultures and religious beliefs.
