DEPUTY MINISTER OF NATIONAL DEFENCE OF HELLENIC REPUBLIC VISIT TO KFOR

Pristina, December 24th , 2016. Today, COMKFOR, Major General Giovanni Fungo, received at KFOR Headquarters, the Deputy Minister of National Defence of Hellenic Republic, Mr. Dimitris Vitsas.

The Generals discussed the current situation in the region and the Greek contribution to aid in the accomplishment of KFOR’s mandate in providing the necessary conditions for the stabilization of Western Balkans.

During the dialogue, COMKFOR expressed his appreciation for the professionalism of the Greek contingent. Greece is an important contributing Nation to KFOR with more than 100 soldiers.
