DANCON MARCH

NOVO SELO, Kosovo. Today the Danish Platoon responsible for security at Camp Maréchal de Lattre de Tassigny (CMLT) in Novo Selo, organized the famous 25km Dancon March.

Nine hundred eighty three (983) participants from eighteen (18) nations completed the event. This also included personnel from both KSF and EULEX. The winner of the event was OF-2 Christopher Robold from Germany in a time of 02:27:14. OR-9 Peter Krückl also from Germany finished second in a time of 02:28:15 and third was from Ukraine OF- 1 Oleksandr Nedashkovskyi, in a time of 02:31:53.

The proceeds of the event will be donated to the Danish Veteran Organization which supports the Danish soldiers who have been injured in international operations and now are battling with either physical and/or psychological injuries from their service.
