Pristina, October 13th, 2016. This week (11th October 2016) in Camp Film City Pristina, KFOR Firefighters and JRD-C conducted an activity that involved 27 children (12 of them with special needs) from 2 primary schools, 1 from Pristina and 1 from Vushtrri.
Pupils had the opportunity to visit the KFOR Firefighters Center, where they got familiarized with their work and their daily life in Camp Film City.
During this time Firefighters demonstrated few of their rescue procedures regarding fire accidents and evacuation of people from the buildings; pupils also had the opportunity to wear the firefighter’s equipment.
Pupils appreciated the opportunity given in spending some time and having lunch inside the military camp.
This visit is also a part of the "We are friends with everyone” project, which is organized by the school as a part of their educational program in order to share values of tolerance and deepest respect.
