COMMANDER ALLIED JOINT FORCE COMMAND NAPLES VISITED KFOR HEADQUARTERS

PRISTINA, 14th December 2016. Today, US Admiral Michelle J. HOWARD, Commander Allied Joint Force Command NAPLES, visited the Headquarters of KFOR at Camp Film City in Pristina, where she was welcomed by COMKFOR, General Major Giovanni FUNGO. COMKFOR and key staff briefed Admiral HOWARD on the latest security situation in KOSOVO.

Furthermore, the latest operational and training activities conducted by KFOR were presented to the Admiral.

JFC-NP Commander took the opportunity to meet all female soldiers serving in Camp Film City with the purpose of highlighting KFOR’s efforts in support of UNSCR 1325: Women, Peace and Security. 

During her visit, Admiral HOWARD had also the chance to meet with military personnel of the KFOR HQ and expressed sincere and warm words of appreciation to KFOR for continuing to provide a safe and secure environment and freedom of movement for all people in Kosovo.
