COMKFOR MET WITH THE AMBASSADOR OF TURKEY TO KOSOVO

September 30, 2016. KFOR Commander, Major General Giovanni FUNGO, met the Ambassador of Turkey to Kosovo, H.E. Mrs. Kivilcim KILIC, at Camp "Film City” NATO KFOR HQ in Pristina.

COMKFOR and H.E. Mrs. KILIC spoke about the overall situation in Kosovo, the latest political developments and they agreed on the importance of cooperation in order to enhance the security situation in the region. Ambassador KILIC confirmed that KFOR is one of the most trustable institutions for the people in Kosovo.

During the meeting, COMKFOR praised H.E. Mrs. KILIC for the outstanding contribution of the NATO Turkish staff officers to the KFOR HQ and underlined their great professionalism.

Ambassador KILIC congratulated with General FUNGO for the new prestigious appointment as 21 st KFOR Commander.
