COMKFOR MET THE AUSTRALIAN AMBASSADOR

Pristina, 20th December 2016. COMKFOR, Major General Giovanni Fungo, met today the Ambassador of Australia to Austria, H.E. Mr. Brendom Hammer, at Camp "Film City” NATO KFOR Headquarters in Pristina.

H.E. Mr. Brendom Hammer is also accredited as Ambassador to Kosovo. The overall security situation in Kosovo was the main topic discussed during the meeting.

COMKFOR expressed his appreciation for the important role that Australia is playing in NATO as partner across the globe and through the engagement in International Organizations in the Balkan region. Moreover, two years ago during the floods that devastated the region Australia provided concrete assistance to Balkans population.

COMKFOR and Mr. Hammer had the opportunity to exchange Christmas greetings and wishes for a happy and prosperous new year.
