COM KFOR MEETS WITH KOSOVO MINISTER OF INFRASTRUCTURE

PRISTINA, Kosovo. This morning Kosovo Force Commander, Major General Guglielmo Luigi Miglietta, received Minister of Infrastructure of Kosovo, Mr. Lufti Zharku, at KFOR Headquarters.

During the meeting, General Miglietta and Minister Zharku respectively shared their assessments on the security situation and the infrastructure conditions in Kosovo.

They pointed out the importance of infrastructure of Kosovo, as an important element for the development of the region. They also emphasized that fully operational infrastructure is essential for the implementation of the KFOR mandate.

Minister Zharku expressed his gratitude to General Miglietta for the impartial role of KFOR in the service of stability in Kosovo.

It was also an opportunity to discuss common projects and activities in favor of all people of Kosovo.

General Miglietta holds regular meetings with representatives of the Institutions in Kosovo as part of KFOR’s comprehensive approach to the overall situation in the region.
