CHIEF OF DEFENCE OF DENMARK VISITS TO KFOR


PRISTINA, Kosovo. Today, KFOR Commander, Major General Guglielmo Luigi Miglietta, received, at KFOR Headquarters, the Chief of Defence of Denmark, General Peter Bartram.

The Generals discussed the overall situation in the region and the Danish contribution to KFOR’s mission.

General Miglietta emphasized the professionalism and the commitment of Danish soldiers that are mostly deployed at the KFOR military base in Novo Selo and as members of HQ Staff at Camp Film City.

The two high rank Officers agreed on the importance of the role of KFOR in maintaining a safe and secure environment and freedom of movement throughout Kosovo under the United Nations Security Council resolutions 1244.

Denmark has been a part of KFOR from the very beginning, since 1999. In the past, General Bartram served in KFOR as a Commander of a Danish Battalion.
