CHAPLAIN MEETING IN CAMP FILM CITY


Pristina, October 12th, 2016. Chaplains’ meeting was held today in Film City Camp, Kosovo. Catholic and protestant chaplains were in attendance. They all serve in the national contingents and come from Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia and USA.
The Commander of Kosovo Force, Major General Giovanni FUNGO, met the chaplains and emphasized the importance of spiritual assistance to the troops engaged every day in challenging tasks.
The aim of this meeting was to explain the pastoral activities, chaplains’ responsibilities, difficulties and feedback that they receive from their soldiers. The chaplains attended the ecumenical prayer in the Film City’s Chapel.
Soldiers from 31 nations and different religions live together in Film City Camp. KFOR is an example of religious coexistence in all its compounds in Kosovo.
