KFOR CIMIC ACTIVITY: MEDICAL SKILLS SHARING ON HANDLING A CAR TRAFFIC ACCIDENT


Pristina, September 28th 2016. Last week (September 24th and 25th), in Obilic Medical Health Centre, near Pristina, JRD-C (Joint Regional Detchament Centre) organized an activity to share medical skills between local medical personnel of different ethnicities (Albanian and Serbian) and LMT (Liaison Monitoring Team) medical personnel.

Medical staff from LMT, JRD-C CIMIC cell and 60 doctors and professional nurses (40 Kosovo Albanian and 20 Kosovo Serbian) from the OBILIC Municipality took part to the demonstration.

The aim of this exercise was to explain the medical practices for the management of wounded people in case of car accidents.

This activity is part of the initiatives carried out by JRD-C in favour of local population of all ethnicities, impartially and in the deepest respect for different cultures and religious beliefs.
