THE PRESIDENT RECEIVED AT A FAREWELL MEETING THE KFOR COMMANDER

PRISTINA, Kosovo. President Thaci received today at a farewell meeting the Commander of the NATO Kosovo Force, Major General Guglielmo Luigi Miglietta, at the end of his thirteen month mandate. Mr. Thaci highly praised the engagement of General Miglietta and thanked him for his hard work in Kosovo. "KFOR soldiers have continuously played an important role in relation to Kosovo’ security, as well as for the stability of the Balkan region, Mr. Thaci said; "the Institutions of Kosovo will continue to have good cooperation with KFOR” he added. "I thank you for the work you have done as KFOR Commander in Kosovo”, Mr. Thaci said, "KFOR remains amongst the most trusted and respected institutions in Kosovo”. General Miglietta thanked Mr. Thaci for the cooperation and praised the achievements of Kosovo in different fields. He said that KFOR will continue with its mandate of offering a secure environment for all citizens of Kosovo.
