FAREWELL MEETING WITH TURKISH AMBASSADOR

PRISTINA, Kosovo. This afternoon Major General Guglielmo Luigi Miglietta, KFOR Commander, as part of the final engagements of his thirteen months mandate in Kosovo, received the Ambassador of Turkey to Kosovo, H.E. Mrs. Kivilcim Kiliç, at Camp "Film City” NATO KFOR Headquarters.

The meeting was an opportunity for General Miglietta to underline once again the professional and considerable contribution given by the Turkish contingent to KFOR in ensuring a stable and secure environment in Kosovo.

Ambassador Kiliç expressed her appreciation for the fruitful and very close cooperation with KFOR, in the past thirteen months.

Currently, Turkey is one of the most important Contributing Nations to KFOR, operating mostly in Joint Regional Detachment South as leader Nation, in KFOR Headquarters and in the Multinational Battle Group East.
