THE UK AMBASSADOR PAYED A VISIT TO KFOR-HQ

Pristina/Prishtinë, 27th April 2015. KFOR Commander, Major General Francesco Paolo Figliuolo, yesterday welcomed the UK Ambassador Ruairi O' Connell.

After initial greetings, the Ambassador was briefed by KFOR Commander, on the latest developments regarding the security and socio-economic situation in Kosovo.

The Ambassador expressed his gratitude to the KFOR Commander for what KFOR is doing in support of Kosovo and for the demanding role that KFOR is playing in the normalization process.

The meeting was the occasion for General Figliuolo to highlight that KFOR is cooperating with the Kosovo Institutions and the International Community to strengthen peace and stability in Kosovo and in the whole region.

Yesterday saw a continuation of high-level talks in Camp Film City as Major General Figliuolo met the German Army Joint Support Service Commander, Admiral Manfred Nielson and the Chief of the Bulgarian Joint Forces Command, Major General Zlatev Zletko.
