SECNAV VISITS NATO KFOR HEADQUARTERS

Ray Mabus, the 75thUnited States Secretary of the Navy (SECNAV) and Marine Corps met with KFOR Commander, Major General Francesco Paolo Figliuolo. The visit took place in Pristina/Prishtinë at Camp Film City-NATO KFOR Headquarters.

After initial greetings the visit continued with a meeting in which the USA Secretary of the Navy was updated on the current security situation and socio-economic developments in Kosovo. The meeting was the occasion to share information on the current political situation of Kosovo and also to update SECNAV on the ongoing Belgrade-Pristina dialogue.

Mr. Mabus is visiting Kosovo as part of a multinational trip to meet with military and civilian leaders. During his visit, he expressed to General Figliuolo his strong appreciation for the outstanding proficiency and commitment that KFOR Contingent is ensuring to enhance Kosovo stability process.
