MSU CARABINIERI CIMIC ACTIVITY

Pristina, Kosovo. Colonel Paolo Coletta, Commander of the MSU Carabinieri Regiment, made a donation of hospital surgical uniforms to the two health facilities in Mitrovica.

The estimated value of the donation was €26,000.00. The first donation was made to the hospital in Mitrovica North and was attended by the hospital manager, Dr. Danica Radomirovic.

The second donation was made to the hospital in the South municipality and was attended by Dr. Zlatan Elek and Dr. Fevzi Syslejmani, the Mayor of Mitrovica South, Dr. Agim Bahtiri, Deputy Mayor, Dr. Safet Kamberi, as well as the Health Department Councillor of Mitrovica South, Dr. Muhedin Osmani.

Mitrovica North and South Hospitals are Level 2 facilities, which serve Kosovar Serbs and Kosovar Albanian citizens. The managers remarked that due to lack of funding they normally have to buy their uniforms themselves, so this donation was particularly useful.

The Mitrovica South Mayor, Dr. Agim Bahtiri, praised the ongoing work of the MSU Carabinieri Regiment and their close relationship with the local population.
