MNBG W CHANGE OF COMMANDER CEREMONY

Pristina, Kosovo. Today KFOR Commander, General Guglielmo Luigi Miglietta, attended the Multinational Battle Group West (MNBG-W) transfer of authority between the 132nd Tank Regiment and the incoming 4th Tank Regiment.

The ceremony was attended by the Italian Ambassador in Kosovo, H.E. Andreas Ferrarese, and other religious and political local authorities.

In his speech, KFOR Commander expressed his appreciation for the results achieved by the men and women commanded by Colonel Ciro Forte. They performed their tasks in an outstanding manner, demonstrating professionalism and competence throughout their deployment.

General Miglietta welcomed the 4th Tank Regiment soldiers commanded by Colonel Alessandro Salvatore Sarciá to KFOR and wished them a successful and safe tour of duty.

Multinational Battle Group West is a multi-national military unit at the level of a regiment, consisting of Austrian, Italian, Moldovan Slovenian, service members. These companies are highly mobile, flexible and are rapidly deployable all over Kosovo.
