MEETING BETWEEN COM KFOR AND CANADIAN AMBASSADOR TO CROATIA AND KOSOVO

Pristina, Kosovo. This morning, Major General Guglielmo Luigi Miglietta, KFOR Commander, was pleased to host a visit by Ambassador of Canada to Croatia and Kosovo, H.E. Mr Daniel Maksymiuk, at Camp Film City.

The visit provided the opportunity to discuss the overall situation in Kosovo, in particular focusing on security and economic aspects.

General Miglietta emphasized the professionalism and the commitment of Canadian soldiers, as members of HQ Staff, in endeavouring to ensure KFOR mandate.

Ambassador Maksymiuk confirmed that Canada is absolutely committed to foster the economic development in Kosovo and to sustain KFOR to ensure a stable and secure environment.
