MAJOR GENERAL FIGLIUOLO IN SERBIA FOR THE HIGH LEVEL TALKS

Pristina, Kosovo. KFOR Commander, Major General Francesco Paolo Figliuolo, met today with the Chief of Staff of Defense of Serbian Armed Forces, General Ljubisa Dikovic. This was one of the "High Level Talks” for the implementation of the Military Technical Agreement.

Both sides emphasized the crucial role of cooperation in achieving security, reiterating their will to carry on and to deepen collaboration already in place with each other on possible joint action aimed at the stability of the region.

General Figliuolo highlighted the importance of the synchronized patrols performed by KFOR and SAF along the administrative boundary line in order to prevent illegal woodcutting that is a risk for the security and for the environment.
