KFOR MEETING WITH EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF KOSOVO WOMEN’S NETWORK

Pristina, Kosovo. KFOR Commander, Major General Guglielmo Luigi Miglietta met today Ms Igballe Rogova, Executive Director of the Kosovo Women’s Network (KWN), at Camp Film City.

General Miglietta and Ms Rogova discussed the overall situation in Kosovo with a focus on the social, educational, health related topics. Ms Rogova highlighted that "young people represent the hope and their education is crucial for the country”. She added that the positive view of COM KFOR pushes her forward to continue the sometimes very difficult work.

General Miglietta expressed his appreciation for the contribution provided by the Director of KWN to enhancement the women’s role in the country.

The meeting was initiated by the KFOR Gender Advisor, Major Claire Wohlschak.
