KFOR COMMANDER MET WITH THE AMBASSADOR OF THE KINGDOM OF NETHERLANDS TO KOSOVO


10th February 2015. Yesterday, KFOR Commander, Major General Francesco Paolo Figliuolo, had a meeting with the Kingdom of the Netherlands’ Ambassador to Kosovo, H.E. Robert E. Bosch, at Camp "Film City” NATO KFOR Headquarters in Pristina/Prishtinë.

During the meeting they spoke about the overall situation in Kosovo and the effective cooperation that exists between KFOR, the International community and the local Institutions.

General Figliuolo and H.E. Bosch agreed on the importance of the role of KFOR to maintain a safe and secure environment and the freedom of movement, ensuring the conditions for social and economic development in the area.

The meeting with the Dutch Ambassador is part of a series of regular meetings conducted with the representatives of the International Community in Kosovo and in the Balkans area, for a comprehensive approach to all the dynamics of the Region.

Netherlands Armed Forces have been present in Kosovo since 1999 when the first Dutch Contingent was deployed as part of the KFOR mission. Currently, the Dutch Armed Forces personnel are part of KFOR HQ Staff in Camp "Film City”.
