KFOR COMMANDER MET WITH THE AMBASSADOR OF HUNGARY TO KOSOVO


Today, KFOR Commander, Major General Francesco Paolo Figliuolo, met with the Ambassador of Hungary to Kosovo, H.E. László Márkusz at Camp "Film City” NATO KFOR Headquarters in Pristina/Prishtinë.

General Figliuolo and H.E. Márkusz discussed many topics relating to the overall security situation and recent developments in the area. Furthermore, COMKFOR thanked the Ambassador for the valuable cooperation of the Hungarian service members and for their outstanding professionalism and contribution to the mission in Kosovo.

The Hungarian Ambassador assured General Figliuolo that his Country will continue to support KFOR in future, providing in KFOR some of its best service-members.

Currently, Hungary is one of the most important contributing nations to KFOR, with a presence of about 310 soldiers that are part of the KFOR Headquarters Staff, the KTM Battalion, JRD-C and the Multinational Battle Group East.
